Hello creative friends!
December has begun, and my new resolution is to fill it with Christmas projects. I love Christmas, and during this time of year I always have so many ideas, things to do, and a desire to scrapbook!
Home decorations start in November in my house, and this layout celebrates one of the little details of my decorations.

The decoration I photographed is made of wood, and I wanted to pair it with the wood-effect patterned paper. For me, wood conveys warmth, and I love using it both in decorations and scrapbooking, especially at Christmas. In this case, the paper is very unique, with dark colors but a stunning three-dimensional effect!
I decided to place a chipboard frame over the photo to highlight the embellishment detail, and I thought I’d play with the embellishments in tone-on-tone, taking just a small red detail from the photo and matching it with the flowers.

I played with a huge cluster of embellishments, cascading and gluing them one on top of the other, playing with the various thicknesses. I used both chipboard and die-cut embellishments, and a lot of double-sided tape!

As a finishing touch, I added some small stars, which match the star shape of the decoration in the photo, and lots of small white drops to recreate the snowy effect.

This is the result, simple yet striking, thanks especially to the patterned background, I hope you like it.
