Hey friends! Brianna here today and I’m so thrilled to share another layout with you today using the brand new Whispering Way collection. I love the soft colors in this collection along with the sweet farm life vibe. My sister and I took our daughters to a winery here in California that also had a small petting zoo. We went to enjoy the atmosphere and they got to visit some animals! It was the coolest thing and my daughter loved it. I took photos of her by some of the vines and I knew this collection was the perfect match for them. I can’t wait to use it again to document more photos from our day! Here’s my page:
To start, I went through all of the 12×12 patterned papers and wanted to choose one that already had a design built into the background. These are honestly my favorite! It provides the perfect base for my photos and embellishments and are perfect for creators that want to create but are limited on time or maybe limited on what they can bring with them if they’re traveling. So convenient!
I ended up choosing the B side of the Barn Blessings paper as my base. I loved that there were elements on the paper, but not too much to distract from my photos. It was the perfect paper for the design I had in mind. I did want to add a few more elements, so I pulled out the Blendable Rub-On Transfer set and chose a few to put down. I also selected a few of the chicken wire Laser Cut Wildflower elements pack and adhered those down next. I then popped up my photos on foam tape and adhered those down next.
For my title, I chose a couple of words from the Chipboard Set and arranged them around my photos. I thought the title was fitting for not just this day, but everyday! I love the sunflowers throughout the collection and made sure to include them. I built some simple clusters around my photos, right on top of the chicken wire pieces I had previously adhered. I also wanted some pops of blue, so I also tucked in a few blue flowers as well as couple of white ones.
To finish this sweet layout off, I adhered a few butterflies from the Laser Cut Elements pack around my photos and then added a Chipboard phrase piece towards the bottom of my design. I wanted a bit of texture and color, so I also made sure to include a few bits of tangled thread in coordinating colors. Here’s one last look:
