Hello 49&Market Friends!
I’m thrilled to be sharing my first layout using the absolutely stunning new collection One Perfect Day with you today. I love the soft tones and textures in this collection.
I started with the paper “Infatuation” as my base for this layout. I created some photo layers using a couple pieces of paper from the 6×8 collection pack. By using thin pieces of cardboard between a couple of the layers I created a bit more dimension. Next I began building my clusters to frame the photo.
I chose several pieces from the Lasercut Elements pack, along with pieces from the Die-cut Elements pack to layer in the clusters. To create dimension and help separate the elements I always use foam tape or thin cardboard underneath each element layer.
Finally, I created a third cluster in the lower right corner using more pieces from the Die-cut Elements pack, the Lasercut Elements pack, and the Lasercut Wildflowers pack. Then as a finishing touch I added a few splatters of acrylic paint to the design.
