Hey friends!
Brianna here today and I’m so happy to share my first layout using the new and beautiful One Perfect Day collection from Joanne Bain. I don’t think I’ve ever shared any pages from our wedding day and as soon as I saw this collection, I just knew that I had to! We got married on 2/22/22 and it was a simple and perfect ceremony. We had my boys there along with two of my close friends as witnesses. It was exactly what we wanted. This collection is soft and pretty and was perfect for this special day. Here’s my page:
I went through the 12×12 patterned papers and ended up choosing the Desire paper. On the paper itself, there are graphics on the top and bottom. For more dimension and interest, I tore along each design and roughed up the edges with a distress tool. I then applied foam tape to the back of each piece and adhered it to the Solids Paper 3 from the coordinating 12×12 Paper Solids pack. Next, I matted my photo using one of the gray papers from the 6×8 Paper Pad and adhered it to the center of those two pieces. The gray paper matched perfectly with my husband and youngest son’s shirts. After that, I took a few of the Wildflower Laser Cuts and after popping them up on foam tape, I adhered them to the top left corner and bottom right corner of my photo.
For my title, I used the “One Perfect Day” words from the Chipboard Words pack and adhered them to the top of my photo. They fit perfectly on my photo and I love how the words really pop off of the page. Next, I built up a few clusters using more Wildflower Laser Cuts and even pulled in a few pieces from the Laser Cut Elements pack. I also tucked in some hearts from the Die Cuts pack into those clusters. The icons in this collection are just stunning!
I sprinkled in a few Epoxy Stickers and added in a few gold ink splatters to finish off this page. Here’s one last look:
