Bon voyage – Layout by Marie

Hello everyone,

I’m back to share my first source of inspiration from this month of March. How could I not be inspired by Dennis Bruton’s wonderful “Waldenlust-Explorer” collection? As always, the colors and patterns are incredibly fantastic. Tones of orange, soft blue and neutral. In a vintage atmosphere, travel and discovery are at the heart of this collection. My choice was on this photo of my eldest son with my granddaughter back from travel with bright complexions like this collection.

I chose the paper ” wanderlust-explorer-solids-sheet-4 ” for its orange shade. I love it! I am using a paper included in ” wanderlust-explorer-6-x-8-collection-pack ” as a medium. By choosing this photo, I wanted to make a portrait layout. I start with the center by positioning the paper 6 X 8 in a simple way. On the left side, I add this beautiful band of flowers included in the pack ” Wanderlust-explorer-laser-cut-element-set “. To make a difference I add a washi tape. I opt for an important frame and not center my photo.

On the right side I realize a cluster of embellishments. As a support, I opt for two frames included in ” wanderlust-explorer-die-cut-elements ” that I position so fun. To add fantasy, I scrape rub-on transfers, insert chipboards and laser-cuts. Too happy that Dennis added ” Bon VOYAGE ” among the word choices in rub-on transfers.

Dennis made a wonderful choice by choosing these beautiful white flowers. To finish in beauty I add ” wanderlust-explorer-epoxy-stickers ” and ” enamel-dots ” that you find in the ” project-tote-bag ” so useful for classifying your embellishments.
