Hello everyone,
It is with great emotion that I share with you my latest inspiration as part of my collaboration with 49 and Market. For this, I opted for this magnificent ‘Nostalgic Memories’ collection by Dennis Bruton. Papers with vintage prints and colors that will highlight precious moments and moments of sweetness. For this layout, I have chosen photographs of myself with my grandchildren, Mia and Leo, that you have discovered over the course of my projects during these years.
For the background, I chose the ‘nostalgic-memories-paper-timeless’ paper. I started my assembly by placing a strip of washi tape from the series ‘nostalgic-memories-washi-tape-sheet-set’, then I added another strip from the set ‘nostalgic-memories-laser-cut-ephemera’. I first place my photo in the center, in the 10×15 format, which I use rarely but which seemed particularly suitable here. I place a dark paper underneath to provide contrast and relief. I use frames from the ‘nostalgic-memories-ephemera-and-frames’ collection; they are very original and full of details.
I use laser-cut elements from the collection “nostalgic-memories-laser-cut-floral” to compose a cluster. Roses are distinguished by their particularly elegant color.
To finalize the composition, I integrate the 12 x 12 paper strip from which I cut the quote into two parts placed respectively at the top and bottom of the layout, accompanied by decorative corners. Some splashing of white gesso to bind the whole.
