What is this event?
This is a multi-day creative retreat hosted by 49 and Market, featuring classes taught by Janene, Dennis, and additional instructors. Attendees will enjoy hands-on projects, crop time, exclusive products, and a full creative experience using some of the latest 49 and Market collections.

July 23–25, 2026
Thursday late afternoon through Saturday night.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $549 per person.
- A non-refundable deposit of $149 is due at registration
- Final payment is due by May 1, 2026

What meals are included?
- Lunch is included on Friday and Saturday
- Breakfast and dinner are not included
- The hotel restaurant will be open, and an Applebee’s is located across the street
- No outside food or beverages are allowed per New York State law
Is there a hotel room block?
Yes. A limited room block is available at $149 per night at the Radisson Hotel Hauppauge.
Additional booking details will be provided. Please note that rooms may be cancelled up until 24-hours before check-in without penalty.
Are travel expenses included?
No. All travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of each attendee.
Will there be shopping available?
Yes. There will be an on-site service available during the event. The store will of course, feature 49 and Market and its partners as well as basic craft supplies.
Is there a welcome event?
Yes. A welcome meet and greet will be held on Thursday evening, featuring light snacks and refreshments. A cash bar will be available.

How do I register?
Registration links and announcements will be shared through 49 and Market’s social media accounts when registration goes live.
Is this event suitable for all skill levels?
Yes. The event is designed to be enjoyable and inspiring for a variety of skill levels.
Are deposits refundable?
No. All deposits are non-refundable.
What supplies should I bring?
A detailed supply list will be emailed to registered attendees closer to the event. Basic crafting tools are typically recommended, but all class-specific materials will be provided.
Will there be open crop time?
Yes. Dedicated crop time is included so you can work on personal projects, finish class projects, or explore the latest 49 and Market products.The crop room will be closed at midnight each night.
Can I work at my own pace during classes?
Classes are designed so most can get done during class time. If, however, you aren’t able to finish what was done in class, there’s ample time to work on class projects during crop time. Class teachers will be available throughout the event.
Will class kits be provided?
Yes. All class kits and materials needed for the projects will be included with your registration.
Can I purchase additional kits or products?
Yes. Additional products and exclusive items will be available for purchase at the on-site store while supplies last.
Will there be exclusive products available?
Yes. Swag bags and the on-site store will feature exclusive promotional products available only to event attendees.
How many instructors will be teaching?
Classes will be taught by Janene, Dennis and additional guest instructors.
What time does the event start and end each day?
A detailed schedule, including class times and events, will be provided to registered attendees closer to the event date. But you can expect a full day of classes on Friday and Saturday with crop time in the evenings. The room must be vacated by midnight Saturday.
Is seating assigned?
Yes. Seating will be assigned in advance so that each attendee will have a 4’ x 18” space for the duration of the event. If attending with friends, it will be important to note this in your registration so that this can be taken into account when assigning spaces. Audio visual equipment will be located throughout the event room to ensure all can see and hear the instructors.
Can I attend only one day?
At this time, registration is for the full event only. Single-day passes are not available.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Registration transfers may be permitted. Details and deadlines will be outlined in the event registration terms.
What is the cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable.
Is there an age requirement?
This event is intended for adults. No children under 16 years of age.
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes. The Radisson Hotel Hauppauge is ADA accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out in advance.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday. Attendees with dietary restrictions should note them during registration or contact the event team in advance. We will do our best to make accommodations but can not guarantee.
Will there be Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the hotel.
Can I bring a guest who is not registered?
Only registered attendees are permitted in class and event areas.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Crafting can get messy, so you may want to dress accordingly.
Will there be electrical outlets at tables?
No. Electrical outlets will not be available at tables.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted per New York State law. Hotel dining options will be available.
Will photos or videos be taken during the event?
Yes. Photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes by 49 and Market.
How will I receive event updates?
All updates will be shared via email and through a private Facebook group.

Are there other hotels nearby in case this particular hotel fills up?

What is the recommended airport location closest to the hotel and will there be shuttle buses, etc to the hotel? Willl there be a way to find a roommate
