Hey all, Nicole here with a new layout using the Mistletoe and Memories collection from Vicki Boutin!
It is perfect for documenting all your Christmas memories. I am documenting my daughter and her cousins sitting around opening presents on Christmas Eve. I’m also using the new inks from Ranger to make the background for this layout!
To start this page I used the Mint Chill Ink and smushed it on the background 12 times. I then stamped the Christmas tree from the new Sizzix release with the Green Jean Ink over the rectangles. It was super easy to make this background using the new inks!
I then started paper piecing. I used papers from the 12×12 Starters and 12×12 Staples Packs to make the mat for my photo. I added lots of the Blendable Rub Ons around the page to add even more interest to the background. I then built up my clusters using the Laser Cut Foliage and the Chipboard Basics.
To finish my layout I grabbed some Taffy Florets to add to my clusters. I then added some splatters by watering down some of the Strawberry Pie Ink. I also added some water to my background to make my paint have a more watery look.
