Hello everyone & welcome back to the 49 and Market blog.
Julie with you today sharing a Halloween layout made using the stunning new Curiosities in Willow Grove collection from Vicki Boutin. It’s an autumnal collection but has a full Halloween pack included, which is what I’ve used.

I cut down the grid paper to 11.5 square & distressed all the edges & added some Off The Rails Ranger dye ink, to grunge up the outer edge before adding onto the orange striped paper, adding a bit of machine stitching in places.
I rubbed on some of the new Irresistible Rub-On transfers. These act like a resist & once inked over show up on the page!! Really cool!!!

I added my title over this area using a chipboard bits word, which I inked with Just Peachy Ranger dye ink, & a die cut piece out the Halloween pack.
I made up my photo mat using frames from the Documented Frame Necessities pack, vellum pieces from the Foiled Die-Cut assortment pack & more from the Halloween pack.
At the top edge I placed a second small cluster using more Die Cuts, a tag & a couple of bats. I mixed some of the Irresistible Rub-On Transfers with the Blendable Rub On transfers to add a pop of orange.

Up at the top right I added the large Die Cut spiders web, which I’d inked with Off The Rails Ranger Dye ink & hand stitched the spider on to look like her was crawling down.

A few more Rub Ons & some word strips finished my page.
I’ve loved playing with this collection & can’t wait so get creating again with it.
