Hello creative friends,
Today, a different project, but one that was super fun to do. I’ve been doing, since the beginning of the year, a series of 6×8 inch projects. It’s a page per month with lots of pockets to hold photos, memories, cards, stories…Whatever I want.
These that I’m showing you (before filling with memories) are the months of March and April.

These two months have been a bit difficult; my husband has had some major health problems, and so I wanted to create something with a masculine theme to celebrate his never giving up. I could only use the beautiful Rust and Revs 2.0 collection.
I started by choosing the papers and cutting the pockets. While I was doing this, I noticed that the papers already had the numbers 3 and 4, so I decided to use them to “mark” the months without having to use anything else.

I started with the month of March, and after choosing the arrangement of the pockets, I began to embellish. I really liked this door-shaped die-cut, and I wanted to make it the protagonist and three-dimensional. So I played with lasercuts and inserted grass, plants, and lights behind the door.
I just added a chipboard, and here is the result

As for April, as always, I started from the pockets, in this case, a slightly different composition. I created a focal point with a frame and vellum on which I used rub-ons, laser cuts, and a chipboard that acts as a title.

On the upper part instead the hanging plants, one of my favorite decorations, I love them and I would put them anywhere!
Here you see the complete pocket ready to be filled with memories ❤️.
