It’s Rebecca here with you today, sharing my latest layout created using Vicki Boutin’s beautiful Flower Emporium collection. I’ve absolutely loved seeing everyone’s amazing creations with this range—it’s clear you’re all head over heels for it, just like the rest of us on the design team!
For today’s layout, I began with the XXX pack and selected a couple of the larger journaling cards. I placed them in the center of a white cardstock base, layering my circular photo right between them. To echo the colors in my photo, I mounted it on a sheet of pale pink paper that complements the flowers beautifully.
Wanting to add something bold and grounding, I tore the edges of a deeper pink patterned paper strip and layered it vertically behind the photo and journaling cards. This created a lovely contrast and added depth to the page.
I’m totally in love with the black puffy titles in this collection—they’re such a striking detail! I chose two of them and arranged them vertically, hugging the straight edges of the pink paper strip. They bring the perfect touch of drama to the layout.
With the main design elements in place, I moved on to embellishing—and wow, are we spoiled for choice with this collection! Because my photo features pink flowers, I decided to focus on pink floral laser cuts to stay cohesive. I built up clusters on either side of the photo, layering in florals, frames, and other small accents to add interest and dimension.
To complete the layout, I added finishing touches like puffy sticker arrows and hearts, rub-on transfers, and some cardstock stickers. For a final bit of flair, I had fun splattering black ink across the page for a bold, artistic effect.
