Hello, Everyone!
I’m back with my latest layout I created with the gorgeous Color Swatch Teracotta Collection. I chose paper 3 from the collection as my base.
I started by building my layers under the photo. For that I grabbed a few different pieces from the Color Swatch Teracotta Ephemera Stackers pack. Once I was happy with the layers I glued them together, then mounted them on a thin piece of cardboard for even more dimension. I then topped the photo with a frame from the Teracotta Frame set. After adhering the layered photo onto the background I colored a few pieces of cheesecloth using distress ink in Tattered Rose.
I then began building my flower clusters to frame the photo, using the cheesecloth as a bed for each cluster. I chose the Royal Spray flower pack in Ivory and a Garden Petals pack in Salmon to compliment the beautiful Teracotta papers. The salmon matched some of the butterflies on the paper perfectly. I also pulled some tickets, butterflies, and heart shaped buttons from the Color Swatch Teracotta Laser Cut Elements pack to work into the clusters. I also used a few tickets from the Ticket Essentials in Hickory. Finishing off the clusters with a few pearls and seed beads.
To complete my design I used a few rub-ons from the Teracotta Rub-on Transfer set, adding them around the photo. I love using the 49&Market rub-ons on my layouts. They are the perfect way to add interest and dimension to a design.
