Hello fellow 49 and Market Friends!
It’s Nikki Sher back to catch you up on this fun project I’ve been working on using the brand new 49 and Market Summer Porch Collection! This collection is perfect for an upcoming trip I have planned to visit my family in Rhode Island.
Have you ever used the 49 and Market Memory Journals? They come in four awesome colors but the Mariner color fits the theme of this collection perfectly. Even the inside fabric coordinates with the collection! What’s so great about these albums is that they are set up Travelers Notebook style meaning adding pages is simple! Plus there are six strings giving me plenty of space to add in memorabilia, maps and more!
When creating with an album like this, I like to include lots of room for photos and even collected items from the trip to my album. That pocket is a great place to add a menu or business card from a favorite eatery along your journey.
Of course, having lots of room for pictures is important, but I want to make sure to include space for journaling as well. I plan to line the back of the cut apart cards with white cardstock so that I can journal during my trip! This way I won’t forget any of the fun details from the day.
And of course this album wouldn’t be complete without all the lovely embellishments! For this album I’ve used the Laser Cut Ephemera (Land and Sea), the Chipboard Words, Essential Rub Ons and even a few Ticket Essentials. I can’t wait to take this Journal with me when I head to Rhode Island!
