Hello fellow 49 and Market Friends!
It’s Nikki Sher back today to show you this amazing 12×12 Interactive Album I made using the brand new Starlight Dreams Collection, the 12×12 Album Cover and the brand new Create-an-Album 12×12 Foundation Inserts. After decorating the album with the Collection Pack and Solids Collection Pack, I embellished it with the Laser Cuts, Die Cut Elements, Chipboard Words, Washi Tape Sheets and Epoxy Stickers. Before adding any patterned paper to the album, I began by building the interactive elements from the Foundation Inserts to the Album Cover. There are tons of options and possible configurations in this pack. Not only are there lots of choices in types of pages, there are also different width options meaning you can make quarter or half inch gussets. This is a total game changer for me and I will definitely be making more of these in the near future!
For this album, I wanted a simple gate fold opening that then opened in to more interactive elements. In total, there are four flaps in this album allowing room for nine 12×12 layouts – and I can still add more! After building my layouts, I began embellishing the album with the Laser Cuts, Die Cut Elements, Chipboard Words, Washi Tape Sheets and Epoxy Stickers. The Washi Tape Sheets worked great to cover all the gussets in the album. Adding those small finishing touches really make this album look complete.
The decorative elements in the collection are just beautiful and I used almost all the Laser Cuts! I can’t get enough of this imagery – Dennis did a wonderful job designing this collection. I just love how this album came out! It’s so fun and I can’t wait to fill it with photos! What are you planning to create with the Starlight Dreams Collection?
