Hello everyone,
I am delighted to meet you again to present my second inspiration for this month of February: a mini-album made using the products of the ” birdsong collection.” I love the theme of this collection: nature, birds, butterflies. It is a perfect collection to enhance your photos of walks and excursions. I gathered some photos taken this summer to discover a waterfall that I wanted to stage with this splendid collection.
For the cover, I used “birdsong-paper-trilling-moments” and “washi-tape” “birdsong-washi-tape-sheet-set” for the side.
I used the Foundations Mixed-up Portrait Album structure. I made some adjustments by adding a page that I cut using the Sizzix ” Thinlits ” cutting die. This kit is really too clever to create pages, inserts, and envelopes. I embellished each page using ” birdsong-6×8-paper-collection-pack”.
To decorate the waterfall I used plain paper, these colors are so beautiful and bright. With Rub-on transfers, Washi-tapes, and Wishing bubbles I add small details (labels, feelings, spots, heart…).
To decorate the interior of the tri-fold, I will match the colors while providing slight contrasts. I also use pop-up papers and laser-cut. I love these photos that tell a story.
To make my cover, I used the die cut from the kit and a paper drop ” birdsong-paper-harmoneous-symphany ” which I also used to cover the inside of my cover. I was missing a piece here, that’s why I add a band of Washi-tape.
