Hello everyone & welcome back to the 49 and Market blog.
Julie back with you again today sharing another festive layout using the new Mistletoe and Memories collection from Vicki Boutin.
For my background paper I used one out the 12×12 starters Collection pack, paper 4, & used the side with the green grid on. I wanted something more subtle to be able to add some mixed media to & this was perfect. As my photo cluster was going to be central, I added a bit of stencilling top right & centrally on the left using the new Ranger inks in the colours Green Jean & Rainforest, these mixed together & gave me some lovely different shades of greens.
I tore a couple of patterned papers from the 6×8 paper pad & curled & distressed the edges & added these on the right. I made up my photo mat using Journaling die-cuts, Frame Necessities & a fussy cut tag from paper 10.
I used some essential & blendable Rub-on transfers, picking out the fir tree ones, & added those at the top & over on the left. Using some of the foliage out the laser cut foliage pack & foiled die cut assortment pack I added a large cluster to the base of my photo & extending it over to the right of the page.
My title was added below the foliage cluster to extend the cluster & a few hand stitched areas & added laser cuts finished my page.
