It’s Rebecca with you and today I am sharing a layout created with the gorgeous Krafty Garden collection. There are so many beautiful elements in this collection, I couldn’t wait to get stuck in!
For this layout, I’ve selected a photo of my little boy sat among a field of daffodils because I loved the way the colours in the photo echo the collection.
I love using 49 and Market patterned papers as backgrounds for my layouts because they always have subtle detailing and provide the perfect foundation for a layout. Today, I’ve selected the ‘Tranquil Blossom’ patterned paper. I’ve kept my design quite tight to the centre of the page so as not to cover up too much of the background.
I began by layering some of the Laser Cut Elements behind my photo, selecting larger elements and frames to add depth and dimension.
Behind these layers, I’ve placed one of the acetate filmstrips from the Acetate Asortment Set. I cut the filmstrip in half and added half above my photo and half below. This is a great way to stretch the pack, rather than using 2 pieces! Next to the filmstrip, I added detailing to my background using some of the acetate words from the same pack.
Underneath my photo, I’ve added my title using the word ‘Moments’ from the Chipboard Words pack.
Next, I embellished either side of my photo using some of the acetate florals and foliage and some die-cuts from the Wildflower Laser Cuts.
To finish the layout, I’ve added some further detailing to my background by applying some rubs ons from the Essentials Rub-On Transfer Set.
I really do adore how this layout turned out. It’s such a beautiful collection and I’ll definitely be reaching for it often! I hope it’s provided you with some inspiration and you enjoy creating with this stunning collection as much as I did.
