Hello lovely ladies. Thanks for visiting the blog today. I’m here to share with you a layout of a beautiful fall day in Paris, the city of love! The Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection was perfect to capture the colors and the feel of this photo.
I used the Ultimate Page Kit and put my own twist on it. Not following the examples exactly, but mixing it up a bit by adding elements from other parts of the collection. Here up top is the fabulous title! I placed the title where part of it would be on top of the photo because there was a lot of open space there. This is from the Ultimate Page Kit, as well as the spiral notebook tucked in under the photo. I placed two of the Majestic Bouquet Mango flowers and one of Nature’s Bounty Cornflower flowers under the title to make the title pop. Adding in a few leaves from the Inkwell Acetate Leaves pack created a beautiful contrast to set off the title area. Up top next to the flower cluster are a few hearts from the Everywhere Chipboard Word Set, because Paris is the city of love!! Under the photo, I placed the little dividers from the Ultimate Page Kit and just added some words on them to look like part of the little orange notebook under the photo on the other side. On top of the photo is a little metal clip holding the banner, both from the Ultimate Page Kit, with a small ticket attached from the Everywhere Laser Cut Elements.
Moving down the left of the photo, I used one of the large Everywhere Chipboard Geo Frames. I placed one of the light blue inserts in the white one for contrast to the dark blue one on top of it. Then I placed a little circle sentiment from the Everywhere Chipboard Set on top of that. Finally topping it all off with a cute bow from the Everywhere Laser Cut Elements pack, then I tucked it all in on top of the notebook beneath that gorgeous carousel! I added a couple of tickets from the Everywhere Ephemera Bits to add color beneath the Geo Frames. Under the photo I placed a frame from the Ultimate Page Kit and a tag from the Everywhere Tag Set just to bring the color down from the photo.
Here is the main flower cluster. I used Majestic Bouquet Mango and Nature’s Bounty Cornflower flowers, dabbed with white gessos to soften them up a bit, along with a few more Inkwell Acetate Leaves to mimic the flower cluster under the title. I inserted a little flower sprig from the Nature’s Bounty Salt flower package to break up the color and add some definition. Here also are a few more hearts from the Everywhere Chipboard Word Set to balance the layout with the hearts up top.
Moving right along to the upper right side of the composition, you can see the fabulous chipboard circle frame from the Ultimate Page Kit. It is perfect on top of the chicken wire, also from the Ultimate Page Kit. I think the chicken wire used like this adds sort of a French country look. Love it! I added some little orange bubbles from the Everywhere Wishing Bubbles and Baubles pack all around the circle where there were little circles on the patterned paper. I did this just to extend the color up from the orange at the bottom next to the blue circle on the paper.
