Hello, crafters! This is Sneha from the 49 and Market creative team.
Scrapbooking is a beautiful way to preserve memories, and today, I’m excited to share the process behind my latest layout, Laughter. This playful and cheerful design captures the essence of fun, featuring vibrant florals, mixed media textures, and an interactive element!

I am in love with The Flower Emporium collection from Vicki Boutin. I started by choosing a paper from the 12×12 Starters Paper Pack No. 5 as my base. I love the vibrant colors on this paper.

To create depth, I arranged various floral elements around the page, mixing flowers with ephemera bits and foiled die cuts. The black inked edges add a dimensional effect. A touch of rub-on transfers with script text enhances the background without overpowering the composition, adding a nostalgic feel.

This is my favorite part! Instead of simply placing the photo, I added a striped awning above it using foam tape. This little detail creates a 3D effect, mimicking a shopfront and making the layout feel dynamic.

Finally, I added the title Laughter using puffy stickers, which stand out beautifully against the soft background. To complete the layout, I incorporated tiny details like bees, stars, and splatters.
