Julie with you today & I’m sharing a layout made with the gorgeous new One Perfect Day collection. This is a stunning wedding themed collection from our new designer Joanne Bain with lovely soft colors & fabulous icons that you’ll be itching to use.
I had the perfect photos for this collection as my daughter is getting married next year & this was the occasion she found her perfect dress!! Obviously I can’t show the dress so I took lots of photos of the dresses hanging up & closer details of lace & the toasting of her saying yes.
I used patterned paper Tender Moments, as my background. It has a bit of detail on it but mainly around the edges. I cut numerous 1.5″ circles out of the 6×8 patterned paper collection pack & folded them in on themselves to look like squares, thus showing both sides of the papers, & assembled them around the background & machine stitched along the joins for added texture.
I added my photo up on foam pads & added a frame out the die cut pack & stamped & die cut a lace border from the Sizzix 666806 pack which I added on the side.
I made small clusters, around the page, using the laser cut elements, picking out the dress, shoes & champagne glasses. These I clustered with small sprigs from the Wildflower laser cuts & plain white die cuts from the Sizzix 666810 Thinlets pack to add some contrast but still keep muted.
The Rub On Transfers from the Fresh Start set had the perfect sentiment & I finished the page with the title from the chipboard words pack, white ink splatters & a few wishing bubbles & baubles.
