Happiest Together – Layout by Valeska

Hello, 49 and Market Friends!

I’m so happy to be here with you again. I’m using the stunning Spectrum Gardenia for the first time, and all the elements and papers are absolutely perfect.
These vibrant colors make my heart happy! There is also a YouTube video for you, showing all the creative process. Hope you enjoy it!

Happiest Together - Layout by Valeska

I made this page with pictures of my children at an afternoon party. They are younger than today, and they were having a lot of fun playing. The purple wall gave a special touch to the background of the photo, and this helped me to compose the elements on my page.
I chose the Painted Foundations-Brushstrokes paper for the background of my page. I rotated it 90 degrees to use the colors on the right side of my page. I separated two black and white frames from the Ephemeras Bits package to put my photos. I cut off the excess part of the photo so that it would fit perfectly in the frame, and I placed the two photos in the middle of my page.

I separated various elements by colors, making blocks of colors in the painted parts of my foundation paper. I used several elements Laser Cuts: Leaves, heart buttons of Essentials, Butterflies and Floral. And other elements from the Ephemeras Bits pack also to decorate around my photos.
I also separated rub-on from the Gardenia Botanical Rub-on Transfer Sheet and applied details in the same colors as the colored strokes of my paper.

To the left of my paper I applied a set of colorful butterflies vertically on the 12×12 Butterfly Flight Rub-on Transfer Sheet.
I glued my photos with height, using cardboard leftovers and then I used the rub-on 12×12 Sentiments Transfer Sheet with the word Happiest accompanying the butterfly design. I also glued some text and details from this same sheet.

Then I started to paste all the elements of the laser cut that I had already separated, following the colors of my page. Some with 3D stickers, others just with glue. The butterflies I always leave with their wings raised, giving that aspect that they are flying over my page. I cut the excess of the leaves that left the margin of my page, and positioned the other elements around my photos.
