Hey all!
Nicole Santos here with a new layout using the gorgeous Starlight Dreams collection. I am documenting me making the 49 and Market Creative Team again and it is truly a dream team! The first thing that I did was paper piecing. I took two papers from the 12×12 Collection Pack and one of the papers from the 12×12 Solids Pack. I cut the solids paper for 2 mats on my page. I used the wood grain paper as my background. I also used the chevron paper as some embellishing accents.
I decided to make three different clusters of embellishing. The first cluster is down at the lower left of the page for my title. I added a paint swatch stamp from 49 and Market and Sizzix to start. I then added some of the chevron paper and some lace ribbon.
I used the word “DREAM” and two arrows from the Chipboard Words and then I added the word “CHASER” from the Mister Rub-on Alphas. I then added flowers, a butterfly, and a star from the laser cuts and finished off the cluster with some paper flowers.
The other two clusters are to the left and right of the paper piecing. I started with some more stamping from the Build A Burst Stamp from 49 and Market and Sizzix. I then layered up some washi from the Washi Sheet and added some more lace here as well. Then I, again, added flowers, a butterfly, and a star from the laser cuts. I, once again, finished with the paper flowers.
