Curiosities in Willow Grove – I just love the name of this collection and of course, another fabulous design by Vicki Boutin!
The photo was first matted with pieces from the Journaling Bits pack, some edges distressed. This was then adhered to the page with foam squares (at the centre – leaving the edges to create flower clusters and to tuck in the laser cut pieces). Isn’t the paper clip just adorable – there are a few of these in the Journaling Bits pack.
Using papers and tear them as shown and adhere – the lace bits from the Laser Cut Elements adhere under the papers. There is also a circular branch laser cut in the Laser Cut Elements pack that I first cut in half and adding a half at the top right corner and the bottom left corner, before layering flowers and leaves from the Laser Cit Foliage pack.
There are some great words and titles in the Journaling Bits pack which I have used over the flowers and as the title.
I have also added Rub-on Transfers around the photo and flower clusters, and the edges of the layout.
