Hi friends, and welcome back to the 49 and Market blog!
It’s Rebecca here with you today, and I’m so excited to be sharing my first layout created with the brand-new Nature’s Haven collection, beautifully designed by the incredibly talented Joanne Bain.

To start, I chose a patterned paper for my background. I absolutely adore the papers in this collection—they’re subtle enough to serve as backgrounds, yet full of beautiful details and decorative elements around the edges. It’s the perfect balance!
Once I had my background, I fussy cut two large tags from another patterned sheet, added metal eyelets, and threaded some metallic gold thread through them. I love the texture and sparkle this detail adds to the layout. Before adhering the tags, I distressed all the edges for even more texture and dimension.
Next, I added my photo. I’ve been waiting two years to scrapbook this picture, but never felt like I had the right collection—until now. Nature’s Haven was worth the wait! To help my photo stand out, I used one of the tree bark-effect frames from the Die Cut Elements. I backed the photo with foam and layered it centrally over the tags.

With the foundation in place, it was time to embellish—my favourite part! One of the best things about working with 49 and Market collections is being spoilt for choice. There are so many gorgeous elements in each pack, and it’s always fun sorting through them to find the perfect pieces.
I selected several items from both the Laser Cut Elements and Wildflower Laser Cut Elements and arranged them in two clusters on either side of my photo, creating balance and drawing the eye inward.

One of the most exciting new additions to this collection is the puffy stickers! I used one for the title, placing it beneath my photo. I absolutely love the soft texture and subtle dimension these bring to the page.

To finish off, I added some rub-on transfers around the edges of the layout. 49 and Market rub-ons are one of my all-time favourite products—they go on so smoothly and instantly give that mixed-media look without any of the mess or fuss.
For the final touch, I added a couple of butterfly laser cuts, bringing in a whimsical, nature-inspired element.
