Built for this – Mini album by Nikki

Hello fellow 49 and Market Friends!
It’s Nikki Sher here to show you an awesome album I made using the brand new Rust and Revs 2.0 Collection designed by Dennis Bruton . I combined this collection with the Foundations Mixed Up Portrait Album in Black. I just love all the flips in this book. It makes making an interactive album so easy!

I always start my albums the same way – paper! To me, the patterned paper is the foundation of your album. If the base doesn’t look good, how will what you put on top of it look? For this album, I used the 6×8 Collection Pack. The papers are cut to match perfectly! I went through all the patterned papers (don’t forget about the backs) and matched up the pieces I thought went well together. After that, it’s just a matter of what order I want them in!

Once all the patterned paper is down, I can then go in and add my Photomats. I typically scrapbook in 4×6 or 3×4 photos so I cut all the mats to match accordingly. For the Photomats, I used the coordinating 12×12 Solids Collection Pack. Once those were down, it was time to embellish! For this album I used the Laser Cut Elements Set and the Die Cut Elements. As always, the Laser Cuts are my absolute favorite and the detail on these do not disappoint!

I finished off the album by creating a waterfall on the inside back cover. I like adding a waterfall to albums like these – it really allows me to maximize photo space. Side note – Did you know 49 and Market sells cardstock that matches their albums? It’s perfect for adding in extra pages or waterfalls to their pre-built albums.
