Hello, 49 and Market Friends,
I’m very happy to be here with you today, sharing my first layout with the stunning Summer Porch collection. A super fresh and vibrant palette. Although we’re just starting winter here in Peru, I have lots of photos of beaches and summer vacations around the world. I decided to use two photos of my children on a beach in Curacao in the Caribbean. Simply beautiful!
I chose Panorama paper from the 12×12 Collection Pack for the base of my page. I separated some rub-ons transfers from Summer Porch Blendable and Summer Porch Essentials and applied it to strategic points on my layout where I already knew my photos would be. I used one of the Summer Porch Frames windows to place my two photos. Underneath the photos, I placed a few layers of paper from the Ephemera Bits pack from the collection and a blue film strip from the Acetate Assortment to give that beautiful contrast between the colors.
To add even more contrast to my page, I glued some Florets Salsa paper flowers with liquid glue at a few points near the arrangements of elements I had made. The red highlighted each one. I love the result! Not to mention the texture and volume of the flowers!
I also used exclusive enamel dots from the Summer Porch Essentials Project Tote diagonally across my page. I finished with a splash of white acrylic paint over all the elements, just covering the photos.
I forgot to tell you about the title, of course I couldn’t miss it. I used Summer Porch Chipboard Words and some details from the Chipboard Set. So many beautiful things to make your page even more special.
