Amazing Day – Layout by Brianna

Hey friends!
Brianna here today and I’ve got another layout using the beautiful Flower Emporium collection by Vicki Boutin. I can’t get enough of this collection and I’m really enjoying working with it! There is a huge variety of embellishments that continue to inspire me to create in so many different ways. I decided to create a layout using mainly blues and greens with, of course, a gorgeous pop of black. Here’s my page:

The Starters Paper 1 was the item that inspired me to go with the blue/green theme. The little storefront with the blue and white awning printed on it is just so gorgeous! I immediately knew that I wanted a vertical design with my photo and embellishments lined up with the Kraft portion of that paper. I did want to bring in some embellishments toward the right side of the page, so I decided to add a few of the Essential Rub On Transfers and the Blendable Rub On Transfers. These rub ons are my absolute favorite and go on so smoothly. They look awesome when you layer them together too!

Since I wanted my photo to be sort of right in the center along that Kraft line, I built up several layers of the Journaling Ephemera, Chipboard Bits and Laser Cut Elements right underneath my photo. I really enjoyed tucking and layering all of the pieces together. It made it even more challenging that I was limiting my pieces to only the blues and greens. You should definitely give it a try!

I just HAD to add one of the florals from the Icon Ephemera pack. So, I chose one of the larger ones since it fit perfectly in the vacant space at the bottom left of my photo. For my title, I chose a phrase from the Chipboard Basics pack and paired it with one of the Puffy Stickers. I adhered it right on top of that storefront and I love how it looks there. For some final touches, I sprinkled in a few butterflies and leaves from the Foiled Cuts Assortment pack. I also splattered in some gold and black ink to tie everything together. Here’s one last look:
