This is my new layout created with the beautiful vintage Nostalgic Memories collection.
The photo is of my daughter, taken a few years ago, one I still absolutely adore.
I used Solids Sheet 1 as my background and began by tearing strips from the Forever paper (with those gorgeous roses) and Solids Sheet 4. I layered and adhered them to the background, adding a lace doily strip from the laser-cut ephemera set. I love the imperfect edges of the torn paper, they bring such an authentic, aged feel to the layout.
This collection includes the most stunning layered frames and decorative edger strips, and I used several of them behind the photo to build depth and interest. I also tucked in a beautiful lace doily for added texture.
The two clusters on either side of the photo frame the photo beautifully, adding depth and vintage charm. The elements like the typewriter, lace hearts, florals, dried flowers and the clock face layer together seamlessly, creating a soft, nostalgic feel that complements the photo perfectly.
For my title, I chose the chipboard phrase “a timeless beauty,” which suits the photo perfectly.
To complete the layout, I added coffee stains and fleur-de-lis motifs to the background and created additional words using the typewriter alphabet keys from the blendable rub-on transfer set.
