I am sharing my first layout created with the stunning Beach Vibes designed by Dennis Bruton. This collection is delightful and bursting with playful, sunny energy!
This is my grandson having a fun day at the beach. For this layout, I used the B-side of the Sunshine Paper. The wood texture mimics the look of wooden beach shacks or boardwalk planks. I trimmed the paper in half, gluing the halves to white cardstock. This gives the layout a clean, fresh border that enhances the bright summer palette.
I layered the photos on strips from the Solids paper pack and provides a vibrant contrast to the background. To create the clusters, I chose pieces from the Lasercut Elements set along with pieces from the Die-cut Elements pack.
I then added several phrases from the Chipboard Set to my layout.The bubble stamp texture on the white cardstock is subtle yet effective. It adds that underwater fun element.
The arrows and Geo Markers are from the Puffy Stickers sheet, and I love that they are matte. They add texture and the arrows adds energy to the layout. I also added some of the puffy phrases to my layout.
The Rub-on Transfer set are playful and support the storytelling in my layout. I placed rub-ons on the white cardstock as well as on the Sunshine paper.
The phrases at the top of the photos are from the strip behind the barcode. They work so well and are great elements to use on a layout.
