Hello creative friends!
At the risk of being boring, I can’t stop using The Flower Emporium collection designed by Vicki Boutin. I find it suitable for any theme and with extremely versatile colors. This time, I celebrate one of my favorite corners of the house here in Croatia, it’s the place where I relax every day, often in the company of a book. This week, we finally found a photo holder that perfectly matches the armchair and the rest of the room, and I wanted to dedicate a layout to it.
Here is the result:

I wanted a shelf effect with the photos on top, and to achieve this, I used 2 selvedges that I had kept from previous layouts: the yellow one to include the photos, and one with writing that also acts as a caption.

I then chose the title using puffy word stickers and playing with overlapping different Rub-ons.

Once I had positioned the title and glued the fake shelves using double-sided tape of different thicknesses, I wanted to add some elements on the shelf: diecut flowers and especially this vase with a bouquet of flowers created with 3 lasercuts, I simply love it!

To finish the layout, I added small details, my favorites! Small vellum butterflies, rubon spots, puffy sticker arrows… special details that I love.

And here is another memory fixed on paper. I am very happy to be able to look back at these projects and remember every detail of the renovation.
