Hello everyone and welcome to June already!
This year is going so super fast.
Today I have another layout of my Dad from his school days using the gorgeous Academia range from Dennis Bruton for 49 and Market.
I started with the background paper “Well Done” and cut a square out of the middle to use as a photo mat, I then machine stitched around the edges. I then have used the “Triumphant” Brick wall paper and cut it down to 11×11 inches and also machine stitched a border around the edge.
I then layered some of the border strips from the Laser Cut sheets and added some of the backpacks and elements. The bus is from the packaging fussy cut backing, which I have tucked behind the photo.
The Die Cut elements has this gorgeous window fame which I cut down the middle and sides so that the windows could open. Using Laser cuts I created a little bookcase scene inside the classroom then added the clock and leaves.
Using the green from the backing sheet I made a photo mat for my photograph then machine stitched around the edge of the mat and the photo.
Finishing touches are rub on transfers and layering more laser cuts like the light bulbs, tags and hexagon quotes.
This is a layout I did of my gorgeous grand children who had their very first “Siblings” School photo, to show you dont need old photographs for this amazing range.
This is the wood grain paper I have cut in strips, used foam tape and layered on the background paper.
I cut the Hexgon washi tape and added it like a border then added different clusters from the Die Cuts and Laser Cut elements then added rub on transfers.
