Hello 49 and Market fans
I’m so glad you could join me on the blog. Today, I have the pleasure of presenting a page with soft tones, florals, and shapes combining several collections. I chose to do this layout hoping it would showcase the softness, delicate, and feminine image I wanted to portray. The page is about YOU and how important YOU are as a person and to Society. Every woman is special and as 49 and Market fans, you are very special to us.
I combined elements from the Color Swatch Toast and Eucalyptus Series together with some ephemera bits from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere and Vintage Artistry Tranquility collections.
I used the Color Swatch Toast paper number 2 as the base page for my layout and then layered the top of the page with half a sheet of the Color Swatch Toast paper number 1. I absolutely love windows and doors so decided to add the window element from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere Laser Cut Elements as the starting point for my composition as the colours were an absolute match.
I then proceeded to build the centre cluster for my photo by using some elements from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility Ephemera Bits and a sheet of paper from the Color Swatch Eucalyptus Collage sheets. I added a chipboard frame from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Whitewash Chipboard Frames to the top of the cluster, raised and secured my photo, and then super-imposed another frame from the Color Swatch Eucalyptus frame set at an angle.
I tucked an ornate frame from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility Ephemera Bits underneath the centre cluster on the left and several decorative pieces of distress papers and elements on the right and, what’s a layout without some rub-on transfers – right! Yes, I added some of these two using some text from the Color Swatch Toast 6×8 rub-on transfer set.
I finished off the layout by adding some foliage from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility Cluster Kit, some acetate leaves from the Color Swatch Eucalyptus Acetate Leaves and flowers from the Color Swatch Toast Laser Cut Elements and Vintage Artistry Tranquility Laser Cut Wildflowers. I added the title using a sentiment from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility Card Kit.
