Welcome to the fabulous 49 and Market Blog. February is the month of love, so I am sharing a romantic layout in honor of Valentine’s Day. I have used the brand NEW beautiful ARToptions Rouge Collection. This collection screams romance! Gorgeous pinks and reds to perfectly set off your most favorite photos. Hope you like it!
I have used Sweet Nothings as my background paper. Gorgeous, as is all the paper in this collection. I matted the photo with the red frame from the Laser Cut Elements pack. Behind the frame, I added one of the cards that I cut in half from the Card Kit. I thought it needed a little pop of color behind the Vintage Artistry Whitewash Chipboard Frame directly over the photo. On the left of the photo, I added some stamps also from the Laser Cut Elements pack. Then I used a rub-on from the 6×8 Rub-on Transfer Set to extend the flower grouping out from the photo. The little stem covering the frame is from the Laser Cut Elements pack as well. So many fun elements in this pack. Lastly I added the flowers. The 2 top pink flowers will be released soon, so keep your eye out! The darker flower on the bottom is one of the Rustic Bouquet Cranberry flowers.
Moving on to the title area. This collection comes with the most beautiful large rub-on titles on the 12×12 Sentiment Rub-on Transfer Sheet. I chose this title because it describes the photo perfectly. I added the chipboard word “with” from 2Crafty to make it really personal. Laying over the word “heart”, I placed the locket from the Laser Cut Elements just to add more ‘love’ to the layout! Under the photo on the bottom right, I added a ticket and a little tag with a little bow on top to balance off this corner. Then a couple of butterflies from the 12×12 Sentiment Rub-on Transfer Sheet and this area is finished.
A couple of flowers on the right of the photo with a laser cut leaf for balance and it’s complete.
