Hello fellow 49 and Market Friends!
It’s Nikki Sher back to show you not one but two fun layouts I made using the Wanderlust Explorer Collection designed by Dennis Bruton for 49 and Market. I am obsessed with the colors in this collection and am so pleased I was able to create two layouts with it!
For the first layout, I had some cute photos of my dogs laying on my boyfriends arm while driving home from a weekend trip. Of course, my whole lap was open, but they both had to get as close to him as possible! After printing the photos, I noticed that one of the background patterned papers matched my photos perfectly – that blue and red-brown – a perfect fit!
After layering the paper to my liking, I clustered some of the Laser Cut Elements around the photos. I also used one of the cut apart cards as a tag to create some added interest in the layout as well. I love those check boxes – such a quick and easy way to journal! To finish my layout, I used a few of the Chipboard Words.
My next layout is from the same weekend when my nephew and boyfriend were fishing off the dock at Lake Pillsbury. It had been raining all day but by the afternoon the sun had come out. We all headed down to the lake and all of a sudden this beautiful double rainbow appeared! I had to snap a few photos!
I approached this layout in a very similar way, first layering in my patterned paper and then adding my clusters of embellishments. I love the way the white magnolias offset the other papers – it just looks so good!
I used another cut apart card here so that I can add some hand written journaling and finished it up with more Chipboard Words.
