Hey all,
Nicole here with a new layout documenting a July 4th selfie of me and my crew! I decided to use reds from the Spectrum Gardenia collection, some browns from the Color Swatch Toast collection, and finish off with some beautiful paper flowers in Pacific!
I used the August sketch for this layout, but I decided to flip it so that it ran more vertical.
I chose the Spectrum Gardenia Painted Foundations Backdrop paper for my background. Then I placed my photo on the bottom of the page and started embellishing around it. I used some elements from the Color Swatch Toast Laser Cuts to add just behind my photo as some layers. I also brought in some of the Toast Frame Sets for more layering.
I utilized the branding strip from my background paper as the title of this page, TODAY. I used the other parts of the branding strip as more layers under my photo. On the top part of my page is where I decided to use my title. I added the half doily and a strip of papers from the Toast Laser Cuts Elements at the top and another one of the Toast Frames. In both upper and lower clusters I made sure to add foam adhesive to the different elements to give some more interest.
To finish off my layout I added some Wildflowers Paper Flowers and Florets Paper Flowers in the color of Pacific to bring the bright pop of blue to the page and added some red hearts and a sentiment from the Gardenia Chipboard Words. I added some Toast Acetate Leaves to finish off the clusters then I splattered with some gold spray from my stash.
