Evelyne here again with a layout, this time with the beautiful Toddler Time collection!
Actually, even if the title makes you think otherwise, this collection is fantastic not only for those who have children but also for those like me who don’t; thanks to its soft colors and retro vibes it goes well with any photo and season.
In this case I wanted to scrap a photo I just took at the beginning of the year, a photo that is a bit of a reminder of my good intentions and hopes for this year.
I wanted to print it in black and white to emphasize the soft colors of the patterned paper and give super contrast with the rubons alphabet. This alphabet with so many letters and symbols is my favorite product of the month! I accompanied the photo with 2 laser-cut frames that I filled with washi paper, the washi writings are a second caption for my layout. I added a word in chipboard to the title in the same delicate grey color as the photo.
At this point, once I have decided on the title and the layout structure, I have fun with the embellishments! This is my favorite part: being able to mix and match the different embellishments, the different textures, the colors of the laser cut flowers. I love it all! A special touch are always the rubons, both under the photo and directly above! I used the new ones called spring stories, what a perfect match with the photo!
I really love the versatility of this collection and new rubons, you will see it very often in my projects!
