Hello, 49 and Market Friends,
This is my first project for 2024 and I’m very happy to continue on this team that I admire and love! Representing a brand like 49 and Market is a dream come true. I hope to bring you lots of inspiration in this new year!
For this 12×12 layout, I used the beautiful Moonlit Garden collection, which is truly wonderful. I used one of the papers from the 12×12 collection pack as a base and centered my photo with a frame from the Ephemera bits.
My entire composition was diagonal to my photo: top right and bottom left. I used a black and white photo to further highlight the collection’s soft, fresh colors. One of the tips I always give is to use the colors of the photos in harmony with the collection, and always opt for black and white when you don’t want the colors of the photos to stand out.
One of my favorite products from all the 49 collections are the Laser Cuts. I used lots of flowers and leaves from the Wildflower Laser Cut combined in layers with elements from the Ephemera Bits and Chipboard Bits sets.
For the butterfly detail, I used glue only on the central part of the body, leaving the wings up. This gives the impression that the butterfly is landing on my frame.
I chose this ephemera of drawers to create something different and interactive on my page. I cut out the drawers and then positioned them high up, giving the idea of depth. I added elements such as tickets and flowers, and even a bird’s nest sticking out of the drawers like memories. I love the effect!
