Hello everyone,
My inspiration for this project is this new product “the-12×12-album-cover-in-white” I really wanted to test it. I think it’s a really great idea. It has been developed for layouts with many layers of embellishments, or for interactive layouts. I also use the products of the ” summer-porch-collection ” including this ” summer-porch-page-kit “. The colors in this collection are just fantastic. The photos were edited using the “silver” filter.
I first made all my layouts following the instructions. Depending on the choice of photos, it may be important to sort the layouts last so that the photos do not orient themselves correctly. For my cover layout, I immediately fell for this one, the title is really beautiful. I add “natures-bounty-salsa” and “florets-cornflower” a word “love” in chipboard and some dots enamels included in the “summer-porch-essentials-project-tote” It’s so Wow!
For my left layout, I added boxes under the photos and frames. Sometimes in the albums we are limited by the thicknesses but not here.
For the right I have modified the instructions of the kit especially for the location of the photo on the left, it is the advantage of these kits they give ideas but nothing is fixed and you can let go your creativity. In addition, the kit offers many additional embellishments so you can change the layouts and not be stuck by the photo locations.
For the back of the album and the edges I used the paper ” summer-porch-solids-paper-5 ” I preferred a neutral and clear tone to be able to add rub-on transfers ” summer-porch-blendable-rub-on-transfer-set ” they are divine!
As for the cover I add flowers, chipboards, and Epoxy dots. If you like to add flowers to your projects, they will be well-protected and sublimate your creations.
I also made a short video presentation.
I think I will be able to make some albums for my Christmas gifts! Different from a mini album but so easy to offer.
