Hello everyone,
I am delighted to meet you to present my inspiration for this month of May. A layout made using the products of the brand new collection «Academia» by Dennis Bruton. A superb collection to immortalize wonderful school memories by scraping photos of your children, grandchildren and others. I chose a class photo of my grandchildren from last year.
After hesitating a lot about the choice of my background paper, I finally decided to opt for a plain clear background. In this collection is included a sheet of 6 die-cut strips. I start my layout by placing a band in the center horizontally and then another band in Laser Cut Elements. On the upper left, I add this door to the beautiful design. For more details, I first slipped a closet. It’s so nice to play with these beautiful die-cuts.
Before putting my photo, I cut a printed paper from the collection and I superimpose it with cardboard to give it more relief. I place die-cuts on each side of my photo. They are varied and many as much to please. I proceed in the same way on the lower part.
Then I switch to one of my favorite products: rub-on-transfers. They add a little extra touch to the layout structure. To dress up the upper right side I create a cluster consisting of rub-on transfers and die-cuts. As often I like to include labels, tags with words, phrases expressing feelings.
For my part, I did not know this designer, but I confess that I am captivated!
