Hey friends!
Brianna Lepper here today and I’m SO thrilled to be sharing a new layout using the stunning Kaleidoscope collection. The color palette in this collection is both bright and bold and it was perfect to document a photo of my sweet girl. Here’s my page:
When I was first going through the papers in the collection, I was immediately inspired by the Treasured Teal paper. It made me want to embellish by color blocking with the embellishments since the print on the paper is setup that way. The paper also has some faux stitching printed on it, so I went ahead and ran it through my sewing machine to add even more texture to it. After that, I pulled out the Essentials Rub-On Transfers and used the rub-ons in pink, green and teal. They were the perfect base for embellishment clusters.
For the peach portion of my layout, I decided to use that section for my journaling and layered a journaling piece right on top of an ephemera frame from the Ephemera Bits pack. I also went through the Laser Cut Elements and pulled out a few bits to include in that cluster.
I used a 4×4 photo and matted it using the same four colors in the 6×8 Paper pack.
I absolutely LOVE the Laser Cut Elements. They are the perfect thickness to layer with the Ephemera Bits!! I added a few phrases from the Chipboard Words pack into each cluster so instead of having one title, I have four. Here’s the pink section:
Here’s the green section, look at all of those pretty layers:
For some finishing touches and a different texture, I adhered a few of the Epoxy stickers around the page. I also added in some tangled thread for another element of texture.

Have you tried embellishing tone on tone or added in color blocking to your projects?
It really allows you to get creative and use embellishments you might not have added in otherwise!
See you in my next post friends!
