Hello everyone.
Welcome back to the 49 and Market blog. Julie here with you today & I’m sharing a layout using the beautiful Vintage Orchard collection. All you need from an autumnal collection, beautiful fall colours, lots of leaves, apples & even a few scarecrows!!
I used Solids paper 1, as my base, choosing the lighter side. This has a fabulous texture printed in it, almost like hessian. I cut an 8″ circle out of the Nestled paper, out the 12×12 collection pack, cut it into 5 strips & distressed all the edges. I adhered this back onto an 8.5″ circle, cut from Solids paper 3, a lovely mustard colour, to give some contrast. I added all this to the centre of my base paper & machine stitched some messy lines around the edge of the circle.
I then turned my attention to my cute photos. I backed both with a piece out the ephemera bits pack & added one of the Stacked frames to the lower photo & added them both to the lower left edge of the circle. I embellished around them using laser cut wildflower pieces, laser cut elements, leaves out the acetate assortment & pieces from the ephemera bits pack.
Opposite the photo cluster, top right I added another small cluster, to even out the composition, adding in a tag from the ephemera bits pack, more acetate leaves & more of the lovely laser cut leaves. I scattered a few rub ons from the botanical set to add some depth beneath the leaf clusters.
My title came out the chipboard word pack, 42 pieces to choose from so you’ll not be stuck for a title!!
