Hello Sweeties,
Today I’m up on 49 and Market blog with a layout I realized with the Vintage Orchard collection.
Photo: @ArtHouseWhimsy
For the background, I chose to work on a white cardstock. I selected some texts and splatter rub-on transfers from the Blendable and the Essentials set. To place them properly, I cut the rub-ons I wanted to add and positioned them under my composition. This means I make the composition first, then add the rub-ons and remove everything.
For the composition, I want to give the impression of a stack of discarded papers and documents left on a desk corner, nothing neat. So I selected first a couple of Stacked Frames and a few Ephemera Bits to add under them.
To remind the leave crown of the boy in the photo, I added a few leaves from the Wildflower Laser Cut. I selected a few tickets from the Laser Cut Elements as well.
As I explained previously, once I was happy with the composition, I placed the rub-ons I’d selected and then removed all the elements of the composition. When the rub-ons were in place, I stacked all the elements again, but this time I glued some cardboard between the composition components to add some dimension.
To finish, I added a couple of Acetate Elements.
