Hi ladies! I’m back again with another layout that I created using the fabulous Vintage Artistry Everywhere Collection. This time I also used the Color Swatch Inkwell collection as well. These collections, together, are perfect for capturing all the fun and excitement of your travels. Even if you’re only traveling as far as your own backyard! Perfect for anywhere and Everywhere!
I used the Everywhere Mapping the World paper for my background. This paper is so beautiful, I hated covering up Europe with my composition, but it had to be done! I added small bits of rub-ons from the Everywhere 12×12 Sentiments Rub-on Transfer sheet on the bottom left corner and up on the right side to add contrast to the blue. Then I started with the filmstrips from the Everywhere Filmstrip Frames package. I used four of the smaller ones, running them down the center behind the photo. This was to create uniformity with the top and bottom of the layout. I matted the wonderful photo with one of the Everywhere Chipboard Map Frames, along with another frame from the Everywhere Ephemera Bits under that. I then added the little torn notebook strip from the Inkwell Laser Cut Elements on the left side. I used one of the clips from the Everywhere Ultimate Page Kit that’s holding the little sentiment strip also from the Ephemera Bits. Then to complete the top, I placed a couple of leaves from the Inkwell Acetate Leaves under the Rustic Bouquet Bluejay flowers.
Moving down the right side of the photo, I placed a geo frame from the Everywhere Ultimate Page Kit with a rub-on in the center from the Everywhere Rub-On Transfer Set, placed slightly under the photo. I accented it with two X’s from the Everywhere Wishing Bubbles and Baubles pack. So cute, and adds a little shine, too! I LOVE all the fun elements in the Everywhere Laser Cut Elements package! SO many to choose from. That’s where these fabulous, realistic looking suitcases and binoculars came from. What a perfect touch for a travel page! Then, I couldn’t resist stating the obvious with the rub-on from the Everywhere Defining Words Rub-on Transfer Set placed under the suitcases. Just to let you know what she was seeing through her binoculars, in case you were wondering! Love the little definitions on this rub-on sheet.
The titles in this collection are to die for! So many wonderful titles to fit with any travel themed project. I chose this one from the Everywhere Ephemeras Bits package because it fits so perfectly with what she is doing. With her looking at a map of North America, and seeing all the little white dots on the paper designating different points of interest, I just thought of her checking out all the exciting places she would go! A little creative license here on my part, but hey, that is what scrapping is all about, right?
On the left side of the layout, I added some more of the Inkwell Acetate Leaves. I am in love with the acetate leaves included in the Color Swatch collections. I use them ALL the time! So beautiful and perfect to accent the floral clusters. Yum Yum! Here I also used the same flowers as up top on the right, Rustic Bouquet Bluejay. I brushed them slightly on the ends of the petals with white gesso to soften them up a bit. Just lovely!
