Hello 49 and Market Friends!
Today I am joining you on the 49 and Market blog with a single page I designed with the Curators Meadow Collection. Such a beautiful collection. If you are anything like me and absolutely love mushrooms, birds and foliage then this is the collection for you. It was exactly all the mushrooms, beautiful birds and gorgeous coffee stain rub-ons that inspired me to use this collection before it expires.
I selected two sheets from the Curators Meadow 12×12 Collection Paper Pack – Papillon and Juniper.
I started by trimming the Juniper paper so that it would create a 1cm border all around when secured on top of the Papillon paper. I distressed the edges and inked them with some walnut stain ink.
I also folded some of the paper back to create little tuck away areas for some tickets and tabs. Once both pages were secured on top of each other I added some stitching to create some interest around the page.
I used several elements from the Curators Meadow Die Cut pieces to create a cluster for my photo in the centre of the page. All the paper elements used on the page were distressed and inked with walnut stain ink. These were layered with foam squares and silicon glue to give the cluster different dimensions.
I also tucked in some tags from the Curators Meadow Tag Set in between the cluster.
Once I had positioned and secured the cluster to the page, I raised and secured my photo slightly off setting it so that you could see enough of the elements at the top and of course as one can’t help but fall in love with the rub-ons that form part of every collection, I added some to the page. They certainly add so much interest to a layout.
To complete the layout, I secured some of the beautiful leaves, mushrooms, foliage, birds, and butterflies from the Curators Meadow laser cut elements to compliment the photo.
