Hello, 49 and Market Friends,
Today I want to share with you my last layout with the beautiful Vintage Orchard collection. Best of all, I used the stamps and metal leaf dies from the new Sizzix and 49 and Market collection.
I knew I wanted to use lots of leaves in my layout, so I thought of a central arrangement of lots of leaves piled up, of different shades, as happens naturally in nature, and the leaves fall and pile up on the ground. Photos of my daughter walking on an autumn afternoon would be perfect for this idea.
I used Nestled paper from the 12×12 paper collection pack and some papers from the Solid Collection Pack in shades of green and orange.
I then started using Sizzix’s Forever Leaves set with 49 and Market. I stamped the leaves on the paper in shades of green and orange several times with brown pigment ink. I also used the Bird Song stamps and stamped little birds. After stamping the leaves, I used the metal dies on my Sizzix machine to cut the leaves perfectly. With all the leaves ready, I separated two square photos and placed them in the frames of the Stacked Frame pack. I positioned them diagonally, leaving a space between them.
I glued the darker green leaves first from the center to the edges, then the lighter green ones, and then the orange ones. Between the leaves, I added some elements from Laser Cut Wildflowers, such as fruit and butterflies.
Some of the tickets I stamped from Sizzix’s Bird Song set with 49and Market I also cut out with the perfect metal die and positioned near one of the photos with stickers to give it height and a little more depth.
To finish off, I added a Nature delightful title on top of the leaves and in the middle of my page, giving even more attention to the location of all the autumn leaves. I applied white acrylic paint with a fan brush, making all the elements come together more with the white splashes on top. A few Wishing bubble epoxy stickers and that’s it, our page is ready.
