Hello Everyone
Today I have scrapbooked some photos of my Daughter in Law and Grandbabies photo shoot taken at the Yanchep National Park with her Sister and ever so cute Nephew. These are perfect for Vintage Artistry Nature Study range.
I have started with the 12×12 collection pack and cut the middle out of the background paper to use as a photo mat, then cutting the other sheet down to 11×11 to make a border around the edge. I like doing this as it kind of gives the layout a framed look. I have also machine stitched around the edge of the layout to add texture and interest.
As you can see I have matted the photos 3 times with a layer of foam tape between the second and third sheets with an added acetate filmstrip frame around the photographs themselves. Behind the mats in the background I have layered different filmstrip frames then added washi tape postage stamp pieces.
I have used one of the Specimen Acetate shapes and adhered it to a white piece of card to make it brighter then cut it out. I have then used the laser cuts with layers and layers of mushrooms and leaves.
The tree branch and nest are some of the beautiful laser cuts combined with a little bow and a hanging sign, finishing the page off with a Chipboard word “Memories”.
This cute little cluster is made from a filmstrip piece, foliage, and butterfly laser cuts topped with a stamp washi tape piece to match the top left of the layout.
