Hi everyone!
I’m back again to share some more 49 and Market gorgeousness with you! This time, I’m sharing a layout I created using the beautiful Vintage Artistry Tranquility Collection, and the Color Swatch Eucalyptus Collection. Frames, frames and more frames! This is my take on the April sketch. This is a little different for me, but sometimes it’s good to get out of your own box, right? I Hope you all are inspired by this month’s sketch and play along. I am totally in love with Tranquility and Eucalyptus! They pair so beautifully together! That’s the great thing about 49 and Market products, you can mix and match from almost every collection and create fabulous works of art!
I chose to use Tranquility Colored Foundations 3 for my background. I love the soft teal color and the subtle design. It looks like it’s been stamped and painted with watercolors. Perfect background for this layout. On the left side of the layout, I placed 2 frames from the Color Swatch Eucalyptus Frame Set. I used a small chipboard square painted with white gesso on the side of the top frame. I added some leaves from the Color Swatch Eucalyptus Acetate Leaves package on the bottom of the flower cluster. Here too, you can see 3 of the butterflies also from the Eucalyptus Acetate Leaves package. So detailed and beautiful!
The main design is all along the right side of the layout as per the sketch. I decided to use the frames instead of using a piece of patterned paper. There are so many frames in the package that you could almost use them forever and never run out! That’s one of the reasons I decided to do this. The different sizes and designs on the frames create texture, and depth on the project. I also added a couple chipboard squares here as well to add more definition and separation. I used a few of the Color Swatch Eucalyptus Acetate Leaves under these flower clusters, the same as on the left side of the layout. And, just because I think it’s sweet, I added a small bow above the photo from the Eucalyptus Laser Cut Elements package.
Down on the bottom right of the photo is the main flower cluster. I used Royal Spray Ocean Jade, Rustic Bouquet Bluejay, and Nature’s Bounty Salt in all the flower clusters. I love that these flowers complement the photo, frames, and background paper so well. I also added a few more of the Eucalyptus Acetate leaves.
Under the photo in the title area, I placed a piece from the Vintage Artistry Serenity Ephemera Bits, then a ticket from the Tranquility Ephemera Bits on top of that. Then I put 2 tags from the Tranquility Tag Set on top of that, and then a little circle from the Tranquility Chipboard word set on top of THAT! A lot of things in a little space, lol! The title “Love YOU” is just beautiful! It’s from the Tranquility 12×12 Sentiment Transfer Sheet. This sheet of rub-on titles is FULL of beautiful titles. All of 49 and Market’s rub-on transfers are beautifully coordinated with their respective collections. But they can also be used interchangeably with other collections, as I have done here with Tranquility and Eucalyptus. Under the title, I added a little word strip from the Tranquility Laser Cut elements. She’s going shopping, and shopping is always an adventure!!
