Hi everyone.
Well, it is definitely pumpkin time here where I live! Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The air is crisp and the holidays are right around the corner! This layout is of my granddaughter from a few years back at the pumpkin patch. I used the stunning ArtOptions Spice collection which is just perfect for capturing all the pumpkin fun!
The orange paper on the back for the border is the Color swatch Peach no. 4. I placed the spice Spun Gold paper on top of that for good contrast. I also used some of the Pallets Fabric Tape on the top and bottom to fill in those areas. I love the Pallets Fabric tape! It gives just the right amount of texture and color, and can be used just about anywhere. Ok, starting at the top of the composition, I have cut and used half of the orange from the 12×12 Color Wash Rub-On Transfer Sheet behind the photo area. Love this little pop of color, adds so much interest! Behind the photo I placed the green card and the purple notebook piece from the Spice Cluster Kit. The little sentiment on the purple is from the Spice Ephemera Bits.
Coming down the left side of the photo, I used the large flower rub-on from the 12×12 Spice Rub-On Transfer sheet. FABULOUS color on these transfers!! I added a small frame under the photo on the top that matches the colors of the flowers with 2 little flowers from the Spice Laser Cut Elements underneath. Then gotta have a couple butterflies, because I love butterflies! They are from the Laser Cut Elements as well. Then there’s those big beautiful pumpkins at the bottom of the photo!! They are from the Spice Cluster Kit. Aren’t they gorgeous? The colors!!
For the title, I used “HELLO” from the Spice Chipboard Word Set. So many titles to choose from. I placed the pink bow and heart from the Laser Cut Elements on the very bottom of the title with a sentiment on top from the Ephemera Bits. Underneath the pumpkins and the title, I placed the other half of the rub-on from the 12×12 Color Wash Rub-On Transfer Sheet that I used at the top to balance the color.
Up the right side I added more pumpkins from the Ephemera Bits with flowers from the Laser Cut elements underneath the top and bottom of them.
