Hi everyone, welcome to the wonderful 49 and Market blog!
I’m back to share another layout with you that I hope inspires you to create with the beautiful Vintage Artistry Tranquility collection. I love that this collection is so versatile. You can create anything… masculine, feminine, even a baby looking in a mirror! I love this photo, and this collection has the perfect colors and embellishments to showcase it!
I cut the strip off the bottom of the Sweet Nothings paper and used a punch to create the lacy border on the bottom. Then I glued the strip back on the paper and adhered it to a sheet of pink cardstock. I turned the paper sideways so that it would border the left side of the layout. I love the little hearts on the strip and think it made the perfect border for this photo. I used 2 of the filmstrip frames behind the Vintage Artistry Essentials White Wash Chipboard Frame to mat the photo. I used the back side of the filmstrip frames to get the soft colors that match the color palette of the layout.
I tucked in a little flower cluster from the Laser Cut Elements package to give balance to this side of the layout. The title is from the Chipboard Word Set. This little package of words has SO many titles and word strips to choose from. “Hello” was perfect for this photo! I added a little lace rub-on under the title from the Spectrum Sherbet Strawberry Lemonade Rub-on Transfer Sheet to accent the title, and because it’s pretty!
On the right side of the photo I tucked in flower clusters from the Laser Cut Elements set and the Cluster Kit under and around the photo.I then added some chipboard pieces from 2Crafty that I heat embossed with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel to extend the arrangement. (It’s hard to see, but there is a small piece of the pink lace border from the Laser Cut Elements under the chipboard. I placed it there to try to extend the lace under the title.) Then I placed Royal Spray Passion Pink and Royal Spray Bashful flowers over the chipboard. I lightly brushed a little white gesso over the Passion Pink flowers to soften them up a bit. I added the 3 butterflies from the Ultimate Page Kit because a layout of a baby needs butterflies! So sweet!
To finish off the layout, I added a little flower cluster to the bottom right. I used the same flowers from the Laser Cut Elements set under the Passion Pink and Bashful flowers. Under the word strip, I placed 2 of the inserts from the Film Strip Frames. I think these little inserts were perfect to accent the word strip! I also used a little bit of the pink lace border from the Laser Cut Elements set under the cluster.
