Family Recipes Binder by Valeska

Hello, 49 and Market Friends,

Today I want to share with you my new project with the Cottagecore collection and how I put together the Foundations Essential Binder as a recipe book. I loved how it turned out, and I hope you like it too.

The new Foundations Essential Binder comes with a 2-ring system to hold 6″x8″ pages that include white sheets as dividers, sticker sheets and Insta Flip pocket page protectors in different sizes and styles.

I loved the possibility of combining a recipe book with photos of the dishes, or even of the family cooking together. A delightful collection, without a doubt!

To decorate the cover of the binder, I used the laser cuts from the collection and cut out the title Family Recipes from the bottom of the recipe card pack. I also used Rub-on Transfers stickers on the bottom to give it that special touch.

On the spine of the binder, I used a cream cotton ribbon with a bow.

For the inside, I used the Cottagecore Kitchen Edition 6×8 paper collection pack to decorate the blank sheets and inside the page protectors. On each blank sheet, I placed a tab from the sticker sheet and used the Blendable Rub-on Transfer word sticker to highlight the types of recipes by category.

I also used Cottagecore Journal Cards and cut the cards to use in the 3″x4″ spaces in the page protectors. They are perfect for that. In the other spaces, 6.125″x4″, I basically used the recipe cards from the Cottagecore Kitcheh edition recipe cards.

I found it super easy to put everything together and create my own recipe book with the beautiful Cottagecore collection. Plus, it’s perfect for recording family moments in the kitchen, in the garden, in your home… in short, collecting memories.
